CASA of St. Croix County
Location: St. Croix County, WI
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, with occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends
Status: Full-time, Non-exempt

About the Role

CASA of St. Croix County is seeking a dedicated Volunteer Advocate Coordinator to support our mission of ensuring abused and neglected children receive high‑quality advocacy in court. Under the supervision of the Executive Director, this role oversees case management, volunteer supervision, reporting, and record‑keeping and programmatic elements.

Key Responsibilities

Case Management

  • Supervise and manage assigned CASA volunteers.

  • Assist volunteers with court preparation and reports; attend hearings as needed.

  • Conduct monthly contact with each volunteer and document updates in case software.

  • Provide guidance on family stabilization, community resources, monitoring, and documentation.

  • Attend court in place of volunteers when necessary.

Volunteer Supervision

  • Assist with training using the National CASA curriculum; conduct monthly continuing education sessions and maintain records.

  • Assign cases, review reports, and provide feedback.

  • Support volunteers with resources, guidance, and problem solving.

  • Complete volunteer evaluations per national standards.

  • Enter volunteer and case data into Optima.

Reporting & Record Keeping

  • Ensure reports are submitted for every court hearing.

  • Maintain volunteer forms, case files, and hearing information.

Other Duties as Assigned

Additional responsibilities may be delegated by the supervisor.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, psychology, or a related field.

  • 1+ year of experience working with families in crisis.

  • Strong commitment to CASA’s mission, values, diversity, equity, and inclusion.

  • Knowledge of family dynamics relating to child abuse and neglect. Preference for those with direct experience.

  • Excellent communication and writing skills.

  • Ability to supervise, empower, and collaborate with volunteers.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to sit/stand for long periods, conduct site visits (including stairs), and lift up to 30 lbs.

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel for court hearings and visits.

  • Completion of CASA Advocacy Training (30 hours).
